The Lipstick capsule is biodegradable and made from 90% post-consumer recycled pulp fiber. It can be recycled or simply thrown away after use once the inner refill is removed.  The inner refill tube is made from 50% post consumer recycled PET and should be removed from the capsule and recycled separately
